It is with some reluctance that I am considering selling my 1990 Porsche 911 Targa. It is a nice car, with pretty much all of the must do maintenance items taken care of.Located in Athens Georgia
I drove the car 160 miles with the local Porsche group into the mountains this past November 2015 --RUNS GREAT!
It is a higher milage car, 169k. But does not use significant oil or smoke. It has a few small oil leaks, but nothing major.
It has had a repaint in the original color some time ago. The paint still shows well and the interior is in good condition.
About myself and the car. I am a Porsche enthusiast and especially enjoy the 964 generation 911 as advertised here. Since purchasing the car in the summer of 2014, and have completed extensive maintenance and upgrades to virtually every system on the car. I consider it extremely reliable, and would not hesitate to drive it across the country today. It does not overheat, pulls very strong, and has had all the correct details adjusted to make it a very dependable and trustworthy driver.
It is with some reluctance that I even consider selling the car, but I am not in a financial position to have 3 Porsches in my garage, so one must go. The list of services and R&R projects I have completed on this car is so extensive that I doubt I can even remember them all, but will attempt to give you a comprehensive overview.

Other particulars: The car has a clean title in my possession, however it has a non standard VIN assigned from Oklahoma and stamped on the A-pillar. This is due to the fact it was built and sold in the european market, and later imported to the US. The actual VIN is WPOZZZ96ZLS452113
As far as I can tell, the car has never had any frame or structural damage. I know the front bumper cover has been replaced twice. The rest of the car appears to be original panels with a fair respray in the original guards red. The car will come fitted with boxster wheels with very good condition Michelin Pilot Sport tires. The car is currently registered and insured in my name in Georgia.
I am not going to wax on philosophically about how this is one of the last aircooled 911's and how much better built they are than today's cars. If you have read this much about the car, you can tell I have a pretty high opinion of the 964 platform and this example. My name is Justin, you can call me at 770.833.8102. I am located in Athens GA, about 1.5hrs outside of Atlanta. You can fly in and drive home. Or I can assist in getting the car trailered back to you. Thank you for your time, ask any questions you may have.

“Driver condition car. Some paint defects, minor oil leakage, to be expected of an unrestored car of this era. Tear in driver's side seat bottom, bolster wear. Needs door check straps replaced. All factored into the asking price.” |
