This is a very clean and original 996 turbo. It has never been raced or modified. Always garaged and detailed. No dents, dings, perfect leather interior.
All service done by Jim Ellis Porsche in Atlanta, GA. This is our third Porsche and now we would like to trade this beauty for a cab. If you want a Porsche that is fun, fast and easy to drive in the hills or open road this is it. The new 911 Turbos are going for $180K and this is just as fast for 20% of the cost. During our ownership besides normal service we have: replaced the bulb in the third light, new brakes, replaced switch on the back up lights; replaced ignition switch; replace emission control sensor; re- tinted the passenger side window; replaced oxygen filter and replaced tires with Yokohama's. As you can see we have had no major problems with our car.
Site says that there were four owners - that i s not true. We bought it from the original owner and then I have had the title transferred from my name to my wife's.
There is just one item that can be fixed on the car and that is the spoiler. As in all Porsche's the oil in the hydraulics dries out. Since we don't drive the car 100MPH the spoiler is not important to us and have decided not to have the electrical system for the spoiler replaced. You can search and find this is a common problem in all Porsche's with the automatic spoiler. For $150 you can buy an after market product that will keep the wing in an upright position. We think it looks better in the down position. If yo want the aftermarket product, I will buy it for you.
There is nothing else I can tell you about our Porsche - it's just a beautiful machine.
