You are looking at a beautiful example of a 1966 silver Porsche 912 with red interior that I have owned since November 2013. I purchased the car from orange county California from a man that owned it for a little over a year. Before him an older Californian woman had owned it since it was brand new. This car has been garaged for the entirety of its ownership and its maintenance and other updates have been well documented as seen in the photos of the records above. The car has been repainted and is in excellent condition as you can see in the photos. The tires are near brand new and have near full tread life left. The interior and dash have been reupholstered and are in like new condition.
During my ownership I've put roughly a 1000 miles on the car and have been meticulous with it's maintenance, and upgraded various items on the car including the vents in the interior, aluminum dash paneling, put a vintage styled head unit on (previous owner had an updated alpine head unit) , and also put the beautiful late 1960's vintage Nardi steering wheel.
This car is essentially a time machine, you hop in it and you feel as if you have gone back in time. The sounds of the engine, the smell, the simplicity in the instrument cluster... I could go on and on, but it truly is an experience. I will warn you though if you go out in public in this, expect to get stopped and asked a lot of questions and compliments. Both men and especially women are drawn to this car.
I absolutely love this car, but I have my heart set on achieving a child hood dream. That is owning a Lamborghini. This will free up some space in my garage as well as funds to work towards achieving that.
