This is a very collectible, absolutely rust free Porsche 914 2.0 California car from Santa Barbara CA. The car has had one repaint in its factory original Nepal Orange paint code L20C.The underside is free from any dents, scrapes or corrosion. The car still has the factory undercoating that has come off in places to reveal factory applied orange paint. It has been a garaged kept car and it shows. The paint has great shine and you have to look close to see any chips and there are no dents or repairs. All rubber components are soft and free from any deterioration. The Hell Hole, Rockers, Trunks, and Floor Pans are totally rust free and have never been replaced or messed with.
The interior is original including plaid seats. It has appearance package, gauges, original working radio and no additions cut into the panels.The door panels are basketweave and they're in great shape. There is a small crack in the dash but I'm including a NOS original dash pad with the sale. Tools, spare and jack are included with the car as well as the original owners manual. All lights and gauges work.
Engine is matching numbers GC004230 and runs fine with no leaks, smoke or strange sounds and it doesn't look like it's ever been out of the car. Dual Carb conversion was done early on and fuel injection is easy to source and can be converted back easily. The car has five original Fuchs including the spare. The brakes and tires are new.This is a strong 914 and needs nothing and can be used for weekend drives or long tours.
I have a dozen other 356's and 911's that are all original and I'm selling the 914 to make room for another 911. This is a great opportunity to buy a really nice 914. Most 914's have had a hard life and it's almost impossible to find a great one. I have set a very reasonable reserve on this car and good luck!
