The car was purchased from the 2nd owner in November of 2009 the Odometer reading 115xxx miles.
The car was in need of considerable TLC. Over a 4 year period all systems of the car have been checked, cleaned and repaired or replaced and the car has been repainted. The car was inspected and the oil & filter changed during June 2015. There are a large amount of receipts for all of the parts purchased and the painting at the auto body shop. The prep and painting alone was $3100, the sell price does not reflect the hundreds of hours spent refurbishing the car. We are down sizing and relocating therefore the sale of the car. This is now a very good reliable, fun to drive car, Find below a list of the work completed.
Previous owner replaced cylinder head with refurbished head 2009 at approximately 115, 000 miles
Previous owner installed updated clutch, pressure plate and clutch hydraulic slave cylinder 2009.
Previous owner installed updated Water Pump 2009
January 2010 to date.
Engine cleaned and resealed: Camshaft Tower, Crank shaft front and rear, Balance shafts, oil cooler, air oil separator, intake seals.
Timing and balance shaft belts and new rollers
Intake seals
Vacuum lines replaced
Throttle body rebuilt and after-market throttle cam improved response
Speed and reference sensor wiring repaired
New coil, spark plug wires, spark plugs, cap and rotor
New fuel pump, pressure regulator and engine compartment fuel lines; refurbished fuel injectors installed
Engine cooling system flushed and antifreeze and expansion tank cap replaced
Air flow meter wiper retracked
New heater valve and hoses, new motor mounts, new battery, new main ground cables; all ground points cleaned and tested, a re-built starter installed, new accessory belts, new hood struts, new pressure plate throw-out bearing and pilot bearing, DME computer resoldered and engine/DME wiring harness repaired, new O2 sensor, catalytic converter, and new stainless steel muffler installed
AC system: new R134 compatible compressor, expansion valve and receiver/dryer installed (AC blows cold)
Suspension System: new rear shock absorbers installed, rebuilt power steering pump, rebuilt power steering rack and pinion, new inner and outer tie rods and boots, rebuilt control arms and control arm mounts, new sway bar bushings, added sway bar after-market braces, new front struts, wheel bearings cleaned and re-packed, 4 new tires, alloy wheels sanded, primed and painted, undercoating repaired and complete top-coating of under body coating
Brakes: rebuilt all 4 calipers and painted, rotors turned - front and rear new brake pads - front and rear, new stainless steel caliper brake line hoses, flushed brake fluid
Transaxle: cleaned, new input and output shaft seals, flushed and replaced gear oil Mobil synthetic, new shift selector and rubber boots
Body: prepped for painting, new paint, new fog lights, new wiper blades, some new body seals, rear hatch seal
New rear hatch gas lifting struts, latch pins and receivers installed.
Interior: molded dash cover installed, New steering wheel, odometer gear replaced, cleaned ground points under dash, updated radio installed by previous owner including new speakers and rear amplifier, added air fuel ratio indicator and other small improvements in general.
