2001 Porsche Boxster. 172500 highway miles. This car has made many trips to Canada and back with ease. Always garaged, new clutch about 20, 000 miles ago, no rust. All lights and gauges work as they should. Oil changed every 5, 000 miles - recently passed Virginia's Emission inspection - good for 2 years and has a new current Virginia State inspection with no issues noted. No accidents, roof is in good condition, red painted calipers, new brake pads all around. tires are in good shape. This car is an excellent daily driver and looks good up close up as well. I maxed it out at 140mph and it was solid at that speed. Pulls strong in all gears, no issues noticed. Roof operation usually requires stopping and pulling up the hand brake - it has been modified so you can now raise and lower your roof at any speed with a simple one click on the hand brake. I will show you how to works it when you pick up the car. All original manuals and tools in the spare tire come with the car. Spare tire and jack tools is in the trunk
There two items that will need to be addressed by the next owner:
1. There is a power steering fluid leak in one of the hoses which means that the fluid needs to be touched up every couple of days. I cannot reach the hose to replace or repair and therefor have just filled up fluid as needed.2. One of the roof motors needs to be replaced. It is an easy fix and does not effect the operation of the roof going up or down. Used motors are available on eBay for about $60.00.
Only reason I'm selling is that I have a new Great Dane and he doesn't fit in the car.
The car is sold AS-IS and can be driven away with confidence - fly in to Dulles Airport or Regan National Airport, put your plate on it and drive it home. Extra power steering fluid will be included if you have a long trip.
