Interior:
Full Rolls Royce Red leather covers the interior including seats (front & back), firewall, door panels, and correct bulkhead trim. Seats are done in Bentley double diamond stitching as are door panels. Aluminum floors throughout. Steering wheel was sourced from Moto Lita specifically for this car. We had specially fabricated pieces throughout including correct dual AutoPulse 500 fuel pumps (non functional), center trim, lightened pedal cluster, lightened period door handles, period replica gauges with aluminum controls, and navigator footboard.
Engine:
2180cc Type1 motor built with all new components (BOSCH ignition system & starter, Bergman Fan Shroud, 4340 counterweighted crankshaft, 10 lbs. lightened flywheel, dual 48 IDA Weber carburetors, micro-balanced motor.). Hand-built MagnaFlow powder coated exhaust. Dyno sheet confirms 148bhp/138fpt.
Transmission:
Rancho Performance Pro-Street transaxle (upgraded 3:44 Ring & Pinion, Super Diff, Aluminum Side Cover, Welded 3-4 Hubs, & Hardened Keys) powder coated gray case and shafts. A hydraulic clutch and solid shift linkage are used providing a precise and smooth engagement of the clutch.
Chassis:
Tubular black powder coated chassis hand built in the USA specific to this build. Integrated rear jack points are welded to the rear of the vehicle for simple service. The car can be lifted using floor jack from the sides given the car has solid aluminum floors.
Body:
The body had many hours of prep completed to get the fit and panel gaps precise. In additional to the functional engine cover vents, the front brake ducts are functional (not like cosmetic blocked off examples found on kit cars.
Wheels & Brakes:
15x5.5” Wide-5 rear wheels with 15x4.5” Wide-5 front wheels powder coated in silver then mounted with Dunlop radials. 4 wheel disc brakes sit behind custom drilled drum brake covers to maintain the period look of the car.
