Up for sale are TWO very rare Renault Floride Caravelle convertibles. Both cars are California natives since new and still have the Black and Yellow license plates. Both have not been driven since the 1970's. These are restoration projects and come with many extra parts collected over the years.
Car #1 is a 1959 Floride in the desireable White with Red color combo. Complete drivetrain which turns over. May run but we have not attempted to start. Good windshield and rear glass. Needs passenger side door glass. Missing front bumper. Some dents to the nose. Looks to be wearing mostly original paint. No seats. Some rust issues in the floors to contend with but good body otherwise.
Car #2 is a 1959 Floride originally painted Narvick Blue. Complete interior and convertible top. Rear disk brakes. Disassembled engine. Rusty floors. Good windshield and rear glass.
Both cars roll and steer. White car comes with California title and the other will be sold as a parts car with Bill of Sale only. Includes many extra mechanical parts including 1 complete engine and gearbox, 2 rear ends, and many other parts.
Great project for the right person.

Cars are located in beautiful Auburn, California 95603 (30 mins east of Sacramento) with easy truck access from I-80.

Because of unfortunate non pay bidders we have experienced in the past, we ask for a $500.00 deposit via paypal within 24 hrs, and full payment wired or cash/certified bank check be sent within 3 business days of auction end. We will not hold the car for 3 weeks while the bidder gets their financial affairs in order. If these terms are not met, car will be re-listed and bidder in question will be reported to Ebay for violation. Unless prior arrangements are made, we expect the vehicle to be picked up within 3 weeks from end of auction. All vehicles not picked up after 3 weeks will incur a $15/day storage fee which must be paid prior to releasing the vehicle. All questions and inspections are to be done prior to purchasing vehicle. Cars are sold as-is with no warranties expressed or implied. While we have made every effort to represent the car to our best ability, buyer understands that these 55 year old classic cars which will show signs of prior use, wear and tear, and potential major repairs/maintenance/restoration which will be required in the future. Buyer acknowledges these risks and conditions by placing a bid on this auction and by doing so acknowledges that the seller is not responsible for any repairs or is in any way obligated to issue a refund for this vehicle once it is sold.
