Description:
This is being sold for parts or restoration.I do not know if this was ever titled to run on the street.The only paperwork I have is for a sale/ transfer of a non-titled motor vehicle in the state of Connecticut in 1976.I bought the car around 1985 in New Jersey with hope of restoring it, but that never happened.This is a very rough vehicle and is being sold as is.I have the original assembly manual for the car to help with the restoration.This car will have to be picked up and trailered or flat bedded.If you need any additional information or pictures please e-mail me.

| “The car is being sold for restoration or parts.It is in very rough condition and will need a lot of work.It is powered by a 140 HP Corvair engine.The engine does not currently turn over,but it did at on time.It has been sitting for the last 30 years.There is a lot of rust on the VW chassis and the interior is a mess from being outside for many years.looks like it was painted twice.The original color was red and it may have also been painted purple.This sale is as is and will need to be picked up and trailered or flatbedded.The three piece body split open along the original seam in front of the windshield area.There are other smaller cracked and holes in the fiber glass body that will need to be repaired.” |
