I Recently moved and unfortunately I don't have room for my beautiful red head, I put a lot of love and money in this car and the outcome is a beautiful Ferrari replica which has a tone of power with a recently rebuilt Chevy 350 engine and new carburetor. I recently spent about $5000 on a new paint job and gel coating so the body looks amazing as can be seen in the photos. The car also has all new tires and new deep dish aluminum rims which really set off the whole look of the car, newer brakes as of two years ago. This is a spyder so it is a permanent convertible, they don't make a cover for it ! so be ready for some fun in the sun :) . The interior has vinyl seats and water resistant carpet so no issues with a little water or rain. This car is very fast and sturdy all around. All the badges are OEM Ferrari badges not cheap Chinese replicas. The side shields are ceramic shields that cost over $600 new, the front nose badge is also ceramic, the front grill has the small Ferrari prancing horse and the rear has the bigger prancing horse with the GTO emblem and Ferrari Owners Club ceramic plate, the shifter is momo with Ferrari logo and the steering wheel is all wood as the original . No Cheap Stickers!!!! This car is often called a Velo Rossa Spyder named after the company that made the kit. The donar vehicle is a Datsun 240 Z with the cheap v6 engine removed and the bigger Chevy V8 installed! Its a lot of fun to own and drive around town. Does Not Have A Top! This car is a permanent roadster similar to the Shelby cobra. There is a company that makes a removable hard top for this car and if you are the winning bidder I will provide you with the info
The frame has been fortified to accommodate the bigger v8 Chevy engine and transmission. The differential has also been upgraded to handle the greater torque.
The car is emissioned as a 73 so most states consider it a classic and is eligible for collector tags.
