This probably the longest running Contemporary Cobra build ever! They went out of business in the 90's, I think that this car is a pretty late production number. Most of the build was done between 2002 and 2009. I purchased the car out of an estate in 2014 and have finished it and registered it thru the California SB100 program.
The engine is a stock 2 bolt 428, rebuilt with Performer RPM heads and intake, 750 Holley, ARP head, rocker arm and intake bolts.
It has an aluminum Cobra pan with a Milodon windage tray and pick up and an ARP oil pump drive. Also has restrictors in the rocker arm oil galleries and a new lifter valley splash pan. Aluminum radiator and an oil cooler
Stock clutch and flywheel, rebuilt 4 speed top loader with a the correct Ford shifter, a nicely detailed IRS Jaguar rear axle assembly and brakes, 3.31 ratio with limited slip.
Front suspension is double wish bone (some Contemporary's had a torsion bar front suspension) , shocks are Aldan coil overs.
Front brakes are Wilwood, rear Jag, CNC pedal assembly and master Cylinders.
Interior is black leather, correct Smiths Gauges (Lucas amp meter) w/reverse reading speedo, Ray dot mirrors, sun visors, wind wings, heater defroster and a glove box.
Paint is Navy Blue, solid color, no metallic.
Nicely finished trunk where the Optima Blue Top is located.
15 x8 front and 15x 10 pin drive Vintage Halibrand wheels.
This car is fully sorted and drives very well,
