Selling my beautiful 1968 Bentley T, one of only 1712 built for the world. I had it restored and have been enjoying it for the past 3 years.
It runs superb, just had a $4K major service done, it shifts smoothly and runs quietly. I use it 2 or 3 times a week. It starts every time, and has never let me down. These cars are extremely reliable and durable since most were used as limos. Perfect car for a cruise along the Las Vegas strip! It turns many heads, more than my Ferrari!!
The restoration included a full top quality repaint with the vinyl top removed and painted the same color for that vintage look. Obviously the car has zero rust, and it didn't have any before.
The interior was fully redone with tan leatherette and carpeting with red piping. The rear trunk was also fully done to match the interior. I had the wood sent to Madera Concepts in California and they did a fantastic job, everything was done including the rear picnic trays. Very expensive, cost alone was about $5K.
I have all the books, both tool kits, and full documentation of the restoration, along with previous and current service records all in a nice binder. The title is clean and in my possession. I am not a dealer. Over 30K has been invested in the restoration alone.
Some of the chrome was also done and most of the lens were replaced with new old stock parts. It has 4 brand new whitewall tires also.
The car needs nothing but to be driven and enjoyed. I had a full compression test done 2 weeks ago and all 8 cylinders are good.
It doesn't have a radio but I still had new speakers installed during the restoration process just in case I decided to put one in at a later time since it is all wired.
The 2 rear windows don't work but the 2 front ones work perfectly. It still has the occasional minor leak as most older British cars do. All lights, horn, work perfectly. Headliner is original and in great shape.
I have owned 8 Silver Shadows in the past and have been a member of the RROC club for many years, so I know these cars very well, and they are fantastic, durable, and a joy to drive. The fact that it is a right hand drive makes it even more special and easy to drive, and gets a lot of attention!
Please no ridiculous offers, you can see my asking price is just about the price of the paint job. The car is free ;) It looks like a million.. ;)
