Outlaw Towing is proud to offer a 2005 Saab 9-2x Aero up for sale!
For those of you that aren't familiar with the 9-2x it's a rebranded Subaru Wrx. It's an all wheel drive vehicle great all year round and especially in the snow. This vehicle has 150k on the body and 104k on the motor and transmission. Clean green Michigan title.
When the vehicle was originally purchased the vehicle it needed an engine. We ended up sourcing a lower mileage ej20 with transmission (automatic) and had that swapped into it. No unusual noises, leaks, oil/coolant consumption issues, ect. The turbo spools great and it goes into boost very smoothly. Overall the car is in fantastic shape, it runs amazing, 100% stock except for a turbo back exhaust.
In the past couple thousand miles we've replaced the following on it.
- Bridestone Driveguard tires with 4K miles.
- Powerstop drilled and slotted rotors with pads with 2k miles.
- New front axles (driver and passenger).
- Urethane differential bushings and real differential seals
- Moog inner/outer tie rods with 2k miles.
-Timing belt replacement with 4k miles.
- Recent coolant flush, oil change, and spark plugs.
- All the other maintenance is up to date on the car also.
The exterior of the car is in great shape, no major rusting issues, dents or chips. The headlights/fog lights are in great shape no hazing ect.
The car is in great shape for a 10 year old car, cleans up very nicely and still gets compliments. It does have a little bit of rust starting at the top of the windshield and the driver side rear quarter very minor (see pictures).
The car also has a few spots that the previous owner fixed using touch up paint (again see pictures). I'd rate it a 8/10.
The interior is next to mint, we've seen these cars with horrible torn/dirty seats. These are pretty close to factory condition, no cigarette burns, stains, unusual odors, ect.
They are also the factory heated seats. It does have an aftermarket head unit with new kicker door speakers all the way around (sounds excellent).
