Here is a rare 1999 Lighten Blue 3 door Viggen with a remote CD player in trunk. I originally bought this car back in 2012 did some work to it then sold it at my dealership in Fort Dodge Iowa, Tom Donney Motors. I bought it back from the customer in 2014 with #4 piston bad. He thought is was a bad turbo so he replaced that first & then traded it in. We found #4 piston had a hole in like many of the Saab 2.3L do. It had a bad Mass Air Flow Sensor and some vacuum leaks also. We have since replaced the bad piston with a new Saab OEM piston and of course checked the oil pan for sludge (none) and new head gaskets. The other pistons and the Timing chain all looked good. Also has a new crank sensor and Trans/engine mount. Several other minor things fixed. Good pixels on SID.
I have been driving this car since last fall and slowly working a few bugs out of it. As of right now it is running real good and strong. .fun fast car. I am starting a Saab museum, Saab Heritage Museum USA and need to sell a few cars to make room for what I have now. I prefer to NOT let any of my cars sit outside. With over Saab 125 cars I just can not keep them all.
These cars are a blast to drive and own. This one if fast and fun.It it not perfect as it is a 16 year old car. It does have some paint bubbling on the left rear fender wheel wheel area. Other than that the paint is real good. The hood does have some rock chips but no dents. In fact I can't find any dents anywhere. The interior is very good for it's age and has no badly worn spots. Has a nice set of floor mats too. The front spoiler has been repaired a few times and has some hits from parking bumps as the photos show. Both heated seats worked also.
This car is extremely stock and not all modified like so many of the Viggens are. Also low miles & a nice looking car.

NOTE: There is a real nice 1997 9000 CSE Citrine Beige sitting next to the Viggen. It is for sale also so feel free to call on it. Will be putting on ebay too. Only 86K... very clean car I have owned since 2004. I thought I would keep it for my collection but I must sell a few as my 4 buildings are overflowing with Saabs.
