It's time to let my Saab go. I have had it for about two years. I purchased it with 120k and it now has 167k. Here is a list of things I have done while I owned it:- Lower ball joints- New emergency brake cable- New fuel pump- Rear pads & rotors- Front pads, rotors & calipers- A few coats of Renovo Ultra Proofer (great stuff!!) on the top
Here are the bad things (all can be seen in the pictures):- Right front headlight cracked, doesn't take on water so I left it alone. BTW, these are glass- Both rear fog lamp covers cracked- Areas where touchup paint have been applied can be seen- Right side of car has door & trunk alignment issues. Everything works as it should, no wind noise or leaks or rubbing or anything. You can just see that they are a bit off.- A dash light is out on the left side of speedometer, I might change that as it bothers me- The front speakers don't work. I believe its the radio & not the speakers because they do come on every once in awhile.- There is a crack on the inside glass of the windshield, it was there when I got it
Other then that everything else works & looks great. I used this car to work & my commute is 140miles a day.
Some good things:- The paint looks great, the car really shines up nicely- The leather seats are NOT cracked through & all the stitching is still good.- Engine & Transmission are solid, never an issue- I changed the oil every 4k; regular oil- Interior is in beautiful shape, nothing is broken- Someone put the larger 16 wheels on it
This would be a fantastic first time car for someone and they get to learn to drive a manual!!
