Car runs and drives well, comes with 2 keys. Intermittent issue with ABS - sometimes dash light will come on and car won't start. I unplug the ABS module, plug it back in, and car starts up fine (Temporary fix, will probably need to replace ABS module - search for Saab 9-3 ABS repair on ebay, refurb service is available and costs around $70.). Heat/AC, power windows, power heated seats, CD/radio, speedometer, etc. all work, gas gauge is not reliable (I usually just fill up every 300 miles or so).
1) Condition: I would say close to 8/10 on the exterior. Issues: Aero lip spoiler scraped/cracked - I have sanded/resprayed it but may need a more permanent fix. Some light sun fading on ledge/top of bumper behind trunk. The car has been about 50/50 outside or garaged while I've had it. Like I said there's a bit of fading on the bumper right outside the trunk, but otherwise the paint still looks good. Fist-sized shallow dent in hood in front of passenger - never noticed it until I took it to CarMax to get it priced. I would say 8 or 9/10 on the interior - Light wear on left side of driver's seat, a few marks on the headliner, otherwise leather and interior in great condition.
2) Maintenance: No recent major maintenance. Most likely needs one to flush coolant/fluids, maybe belts/hoses, but I haven't noticed any problems. Needs ABS module repaired/replaced. I found a refurb service for about $70, but haven't done it since I'm selling it. It's an intermittent error - sometimes car won't start due to it. I usually unplug the electronic connector, then plug it back in and it works again (temporary fix). I have not noticed or been told of issues with coil packs on this car. Replaced spark plugs probably about 20k miles ago. No known issues with the turbo, transmission, or radiator tank. No known/visible leaks or drips under the car.
3) The cruise control hasn't consistently worked for about a year. Sometimes it will work, but if you press the decelerate (-) button, the cruise won’t work for a few trips. I don’t know what’s going on there.
4) The tires are in good shape, I got new ones probably 10-15k miles ago. Haven't ever had any issues with suspension, so I assume it's in good shape.
