THE GOOD: The car is in good shape on the interior. The mats are clean, the dash and console are in good shape, the front seats show some minor wear but are generally in good shape, the engine runs like a top and the turbo will put you back in your seat. This car has had oil changes on a regularly scheduled basis. The tires are in excellent shape and were rotated every time the oil was changed, per the manual. I think this is overkill personally, but it was done never the less. Backseats have been used for passengers less than ten times. A/C blows cold and heater will burn you out. The sunroof is fully functional as are the stereo and all speakers. Power doors locks and key fob work as they should. This car drives swiftly and hugs the road like a sports car. The car is reliable and I would have no second thoughts about driving it cross country, in fact we have done so several times.
THE NOT-SO-GOOD: The car's exterior is where the wear can be seen. It has several places where the paint is chipped. There are areas, around quarter size, where the paint and clear coat have come off. The high beam does not work on one side and the opposite side the regular headlight is not working. May just need new bulbs. Both the fog lights are damaged and not working. The front runner trim underneath the bumper is broken on both sides. Could be unscrewed, removed, and left off if you wanted. A dent in the left rear fender flair is visible as well as some golf ball dings on the body and top. The front two windows are not operational. I had a glass service come to work on them and after getting the panels off he said the motors were good but the support arms were bent. Since he did not fix that kind of thing he disabled the motor on the driver's side so the window would not accidentally be rolled down. The engine light icon in the car is on, but has been on for several years. Since Saab went out of business there is no dealer to take the car to so the light can be turned off. The Chevy dealer near me was willing to reset the light for three hundred dollars, but I declined that.
This car is sold sold AS IS/WHERE IS. You are more than welcome to come drive the vehicle and ask any questions you like. I will answer them to the best of my ability. If you want, you can have a mechanic come check out the vehicle at your expense. Would make an excellent first car/college car/ Trick My Ride tuner style project/daily driver. You are responsible for getting the vehicle to your home, or wherever you decide. I had a good experience recently shipping a car from Austin Texas using a car moving service. A deposit of $500 dollars is due from the winner within 48 hours of auction close. Final payment due within 7 days. For sale locally as well.
This car rates as 61 because of a collision resulting in minor damage to the front drivers side quarter panel. Nothing structural. The collision happened at a stop sign; we were backed into. Approx. speed 5 mph.
