Here is one more rare and great wagon with super low miles to be turning 10 - only 80, 947 as of this morning's photo shoot on 9/24. All southern Texas car - no salt; dry heat (less the last 2K miles in sunny South Florida) ALL OPTIONS: including the super rare...
Roof Rail DELETE Option, for a much quieter, sleeker ride. This option includes hidden roof rack mounting holes behind the door seals for a factory optioned, Thule-mde roof rack system.
2.3T with AERO Sport Package which includes 17 Sport wheels, 2.3T High Output Turbo (HOT) with 260HP, Sports Suspension, Aero Side Seals and bumpers,

Rare Removable Factory Cargo Partition/Gate to keep items from shifting forward in the event of heavy breaking or in the event of an accident. This has actually helped me a few times when I'd loaded samples to high above the rear seat line and had to break evasively ;-)
Saab Safety: not an option but a philosophy built into every Saab for over 50 years: Saab's head/torso/pelvic combo seat-mounted side airbags (an industry first), Dual Stage Smart Sensing Front Passenger Airbags, Saab Active Head Restraints (SAHRs), Pyrotechnik Seat Belt Tensioners with belt-force limiters, anti-submarining front seat cushions and formidable knee bolsters, Moose crash-tested and FULL steel safety cage including moose-proof roof pillars (the Saab 9-5 still has one of Folksam's, Sweden's larges insurance Investigators, highest roof crush ratings of any car), Pendulum B-Pillars that divert side crash forces under the safety cell - Folksam of Sweden STILL names this model 9-5 as the safest car on Swedish roads when surveying real-life accidents.
Did I mention that this car could not have any more options? EVERY BOX was checked when someone ordered this car in 2006. I spent nearly 9 months looking for this exact build and happened upon it on a obscure Austin, TX dealer's lot the first day he listed it after owner three had traded her in.
This is the last of the line for Saab's famous and roomy wagons (yes, it can swallow a EuroPallet with ease) - and one of the last full-sized wagons to come from Europe (unless you count the Mercedes E-Class which is smaller or the new 2017 V90 Volvo which has even less usable hauling space due to it's raked back. I purchased this car in January to replace my trusty 1993 Volvo 240 wagon as I work for an interior design store and need to occasionally haul lounge chairs or rugs for client approval. This is a 3-owner car originally purchased from Sewell Saab of Dallas, traded at 25K miles. Owner two had it from 26K-65K. Owner three who I received records from (seen in photos below had it 10K miles until they had child #2 and were forced to upgrade to a minivan. I've only put about 2K miles on it since January. I had it drop shipped directly to my Saab/Volvo-only mechanic and had him initially change the oil, transmission filter and fluid, brake fluid, steering fluid, and all air filters including the interior HEPA/Pollen filter, replace the valve cover gasket, install new spark plugs and wire ALL with Genuine Saab parts. I asked him to make sue the car was operating at 100% as I frequently drive between Miami and Ft. Lauderdale for work. I also had him reseal the AC compressor after he found a small leak, and he replaced one of the cooling fans after a broken blade caused a vibration. In all, I've sent $2K in the last 9 months making this Saab 9-5 Wagon 100%. The owner before me put on brand new ContinentalExtreme DWS (Consumer Reports Tirerack.com's #1 rated high-performance all season tires) at 75K miles so the ties are at 90%. He also has about $2, 400 in service receipts over his ownership I've photoed below. The records from both Sewell Saab of Dallas and Roger Beasley Saab of Austin would not be released to me due to Saab's privacy policy but but I did request them and was told the car was well serviced by both dealers and having had $4, 400 in the last 3 years is a sign of the car has had the proper love and care a car of this caliber deserves to go on for many more miles as this drivetrain is legendary for.
About me: I'm a certified car nut and have always had Saab or Volvo wagons for my daily drivers. I'm active in the Saab online community and a diehard enthusiast. If you know anything about car enthusiasts, we do our homework when purchasing and maintaining a car - the right way!
I also have some unique Coupes on hand for the weekend (see my other auction for my '94 Jaguar XJS) and my current obsession is a '94 Porsche 968 I purchased in February. My partner (who also has an 2008 Saab 9-5 Aero Sedan, and whose life was saved in January by being in a 2005 Saab 9-5 sedan when someone ran a redlight and hit him at almost over 50 miles per hour) - which we are keeping because he thinks wagons are for soccer moms. Because we are moving from Miami to Los Angeles for work later this year we can only have two cars and I'm not letting go of my fully sorted and uber rare 968 Coupe so the Jaguar and this beautiful Saab 9-5 Wagon have to go. This is my 3rd Saab 9-5 and absolutely the best of all of them. It is so well put together without the slightest signs of squeaks, rattles, shakes or other NVH. I've also had a 2007 9-5 Aero SportCombi 5-speed manual, special ordered with these exact features and could not handle it in city traffic, although car itself was bulletproof. Before that I had a 2004 9-3 Sport Sedan (a rattle can), and Volvo 940 Wagon (320K miles), and 3 Volvo 240 Wagons (all '92-'93 models) so to say I'm well versed in the best Sweden has to offer is an understatement. I've always been religious with factory services including fully synthetic oil and filter changes. When the valve cover was replaced, the valves and internals looked like new with zero slugged or scorching and my mechanic (John at European Automotive in Coral Gables, FL) told me it was an extremely clean engine and that even the transmission fluid came out nice and red with no particles in the filter or pan. This is an Aisin-Warner 5-speed adaptive transmission made in Japan that graced many Japanese cars and almost every Volvo from 2004-2014 along with other high-end asian and European vehicles for many years so it's extremely durable. The engine is the last of the Trollhattan, Sweden-made cast-iron block/aluminum head 2.3L High Output Tubo (HOT) B235 engine that actually had its humble beginnings as a Triumph engine in 1971 and was honed and cultivated until it reached perfection in the 2006-2009 generation Saab 9-5 Aero (post '09's had terrible GM 2.0 EcoTechs or a somewhat warmed over Cadillac V6 with a tiny turbo bolted on). Swedish fully dipped/galvanized steel is used for all body panels making this car super safe and very rust resistant. This car has never been outside of Texas except with me in Miami since January. No rust anywhere. The body and paint are in excellent condition with slight signs of wear - small hairline scratch on LH rear passenger door, a grocery cart scratch on the front bumper and one on the rear, other than that, the paint shines beautifully and I had it hand waxed with Swissvax it every 60 days as I'm religious with keeping all of my cars detailed and in excellent mechanical and cosmetic shape. Black leather seats are in great shape as are all the factory-original carpets. All original Saab glass (including the factory windshield with no crips). All Southern car with no wrecks! Always garaged at home and at work since I've owned it.
The car cranks, drives, cruises at speed effortlessly and is 100% reliable. No drips, leaks, or sweats from any part of the car can be found due to my diligent servicing history and that of the previous owners as evidenced by the thorough service history shown in the photos below. The interior has never had pets or a smoker and still has that unique new Saab smell (you'll know it immediately when you get in if you're a Saab connoisseur like I am). Professional, middle-aged adult driven only. I highly encourage you to call my mechanic or have yours do a Pre-Purchase Inspection (PPI) as I guaranty the results will be nothing but pleasurable. Please if you have little to no history or do not intending to complete the purchase within 7 days, do not bid. I've sold many of my personal cars on eBay since 1998 with 100% satisfaction from buyers and I've bought many here as well so I greatly appreciate how this mutual trust and peer-rating system works.Because the car is listed locally, I reserve the right to cancel this auction at any time.
