This car is in excellent condition overall. There is virtually no rust on any of the body surfaces – some surface rust on suspension components as to be expected from a car that is used.
All maintenance is up to date and the car can be driven anywhere, anytime.
This car is the current owners 13th SAAB and it has been well looked after.
Recent new parts include the soft top, emergency brake cables, ignition switch, exhaust, and front brakes. The car has been undercoated.
The current owner is aging and feels that the car should go to a new home.
This car was imported to Canada from the US more than 5 years ago and the current owner has used his years of SAAB ownership and maintenance experience to bring this car to its current condition.
It has the rare hard plastic cover for the top when folded, as well as an original owner’s manual. It is the very desirable dark green with tan leather upholstery and interior. It is one of the few convertibles that is naturally aspirated so questions and concerns about the condition of the Turbo are irrelevant
It is fitted with Pirelli snow tires which are in good condition but are aging although no checks or splits are evident
It has the usual SAAB issues for the cars of this period. The clear coat on the paint is tired and crazed in places. It might respond to a serious buffing. The 2nd gear is notchy to engage when the car is really cold. The air conditioning compressor and condenser have been removed to simplify the engine compartment. All parts come with the car, including a spare compressor.
There is one small dent in the left rear fender near the taillight. There is a rub mark on the windshield where a wiper had some abrasive material caught under it. It is not in the field of vision. The dash has the usual splits in the corners of the tray. A large number of spare parts come with the car.

Car is sold with a clear Nova Scotia Title and no warranty. The owner will assist in any reasonable way with shipping arrangements. For American buyers, we are located about 5 hours away from the US border in Maine (including a 3 hour ferry ride).
