Nice Aero with 2.3 turbo engine, 5 speed manual transmission, front wheel drive. The car cost $41, 000 + in 1995 and has amenities like 3 stage seat heaters, 5 wipers, glass defrost, cruise, extra lights, etc. The leather seats are very comfortable, both are electric. The interior is in good shape, The car was maintained and garaged for most of its life, then in storage for 3 years. I picked it up with a couple other vehicles, put a new battery in it and it started instantly and sounded nice so I purchased 4 new tires at a nearby shop, and was using it as a commuter for work, about 100 miles a day. Turns out the shop had a Saab mechanic working there who was familiar with the car and performed most of the work in the past. The car had excellent maintenance and very few problems. It had a fuel pump at 110, 000 miles, and most recently a new A/C compressor, filter/dryer, pag oil, and refrigerant. New tensioner pulley and belts. The brakes are at 90%, new tires with around 2000 miles on them. The car got everything it needed with OEM parts, however the original exhaust was completely replaced with a slightly larger diameter pipe, the rear shocks were replaced with 3 way adjustable Bilsteins, and a Thule roof rack system was installed. The car runs great, ready for a trip across the country, gets great mileage, and has power when you need it! The glass is in great condition with a recent windshield and quality tint. The bad news; The car has been outside the last 4 years and some of the clear coat has lifted, (see pics) stone chips on the hood, original stereo was removed and so were the speakers so there is no stereo. However the antenna does work, goes up and down. The drivers seat bottom is torn and a small tear also on the passenger seat bottom, I had a quote of $150.00 each to replace both. The center caps for the wheels are missing however I have located a used set for $75.00 on ebay and I will include that information. The windshield washer tank has a leak at the o-ring on the washer motor, it's $3.45 for the o-ring and the shop wanted an hour labor ($127.00) to put it in. They said it probably got dry in storage. The squirts work but the washer fluid slowly leaks out at the o-ring. I thought I would do it myself but have not got to it. And most recently my camper jack fell on it and put a small dent above the door, and that's when I decided I should sell it to someone else to as I'm not able to do the things I had planed for the car. I pulled the Auto Check vehicle history report and the Saab checks out as in; zero accidents, no title problems, odometer checks out, no events or commercial usage. There have been 3 owners, everything has been consistent with the information I was given when I purchased the car so that is a good thing. I will include this report with the sale of the Saab. The car is for sale locally but I will not stop the auction, the locals can bid like everyone else. Remember your bidding to buy! You can make the initial deposit with paypal.
