Bulletproof Saab 95 Wagon, titled as ''71, VIN says built 9/70. Rugged hauler, starts instantly on hand choke, very clean. I bought to use as daily driver due to very rust-free solid condition California car, did some surface cleanup on interior floor, primed, painted, recarpeted, installed seatcovers over sun-damaged front seats. Also overhauled Weber 2 bbl carb, cleaned, gapped distrib., set timing to spec, fixed choke cable, then realized at 6' 4 I'm a little cramped in it so bought a larger car & have to let this one go to make room. Dash top is cracked like most of them, but Saab club friend said solution is to remove top vinyl completely, scuffsand and paint - metal under vinyl looks great as-is, but I'll leave that to next owner. Steering is tight, got new keys made for hatch & gascap, so comes with all keys. Car came to me with elec. fuel pump, but I decided to get replacment mechanical pump anyway and it's still in glovebox as i got lazy & elec works fine so left it there as spare. Car comes with all original tools, jack, removable headrests and two repair manuals. Car can be seen by appt in San Jose Ca. 51, 811 miles on ODO - could be original based on decent overall mechanical shape of car.
Car is sold as-is, where is, no warranty - I reserve right to end auction early as car is advertized locally. Car can be driven away or loaded on trailer. Ask questions now, not after auction end. Must be picked up by Aug. 28th or after Sept. 8th as I'll be out of town between those dates.
