First of all, the Car, It is a 2007 Saturn Ion, 4 door, with 109K miles on it. 2.2 Ecotec 4 cylinder automatic with new timing chain, head redone, head gasket, oil change etc. It runs excellent. Mechanically it is ready to go. Tires, are 70%, Brakes are like new, suspension is tight, new front struts. Exhaust is quiet. Everything works, AC, Power windows, locks cruise CD Player etc. The front seat is a little dirty but it has not been smoked it. Overall a Good, functional, usable dependable 109K mile Saturn Ion.
Now the History, This car was the last Saturn Ion to roll off the assembly line, it was put in GM's Heritage Museum for a while then sold at Barret Jackson Auto Auction. It was purchased for our family friend by his Uncle as a College Graduation Gift, and used as basic transportation for 100K miles. The timing chain broke, and he called me up to replace the car with an SUV. Our shop did all the work to it to get it up and ready to sell. So now it is up for sale here on E-Bay. Again it is mechanically sound and ready to drive anywhere. I am hoping there is a Saturn Buff that would like to own this little piece of American Automotive History.
