My wife and I are selling our 2001 Saturn L300. It's in very good condition, inspected until 4/17. We are moving to Chicago and can't take it with us. The vehicle is in excellent condition inside and out -- never been in an accident. The car has 176, 981 miles, but has an engine replaced in 2012 with only 110, 500 miles on it. This particular car is valued at $2, 010 on Carfax, but with the new engine, it's worth $2, 300. I'm pricing it at $1950 to sell quickly. Here are all the details:
The good:
Very clean all leather interior, this is a luxury car
Deluxe sun roof option slides and tilts, power driver's seat, heated passenger seat, alloy wheels
Power windows, locks
Very reliable. We've driven it 32, 000 miles in 3 years and it has never broken down.
30-32mpg on the highway. Very quiet driving
New fuel pump installed 11/15
New rear brake calipers and pads
Regular oil changes
Powerful 3.0L FI DOHC V6 under the hood
Huge trunk for transporting large items
I have the original manual and maintenance guides
Trailer hitch on back -- Perfect for bike rack, etc.
Excellent traction control
Almost no rust underneath!
The not as good:
1 rusty rotor in the back, makes a swishing sound
Driver's side heated seat doesn't work -- needs a simple 10A fuse change
Small dent on front bumper from touching a truck hitch at a stop sign
Rear tires are at about 25%, and will probably need replaced in 10-15, 000 miles
AC needs to be recharged
