86, 500 original miles! Body is in good condition (exterior color is pewter), free of rust. Tires were recently replaced, and have a good amount of tread left. Oil changes performed routinely at same local shop.
We purchased this vehicle when it was still relatively new (in 2008, when it had 37, 000 miles), and it has been a highly reliable vehicle for our family for the past 8 years. It has never been in an accident, and we have the CarFax to show for it. There are no known major mechanical issues. The AC is not working properly, but we have not had it diagnosed/repaired because we simply do not use the vehicle much anymore. Also, heated driver's seat not properly functioning (passenger side works fine), but I have seen the heating element/pad sell on eBay for around $100. Your local salvage might also
The only reason we are selling this car is because we purchased a truck earlier this year to accommodate all of our DIY home improvement projects, so the Saturn has only been used occasionally since then. We have more or less been turning it on once a week to keep the fluids moving. Even prior to our truck purchase, it was primarily used as a work vehicle, and was driven about 10 miles/day, 3-4 days per week. Would like to make room in the garage before winter sets in.
Dealer retail on this car is between $3500 and $4500, depending on condition. Private party book value on the vehicle is $2500 to $3500, but will let go for $2300 cash to give you wiggle room to have AC fixed, and any other incidentals.
