This is a fully loaded Rare 10th Anniversary car. Included features are black perforated leather interior with silver stitching, embroidered Saturn 10th Anniversary head rests, unique black (with pearl brite perimeter finish) Saturn badges, silver faced gauge cluster, rear spoiler and restyled 15 premium alloy Teardrop II wheels with silver painted inlays, ABS, side curtain airbags, sunroof, driving lights and embroidered Saturn 10th Anniversary floor mats. It has been well maintained as you can see in the pictures it is very clean. I included scans of the maintenance sheets as well. The last oil change hasn't been done because the miles haven't added up yet, I have been using this as a spare car for the last year and decided it's time to sell it instead.
The vehicle has an upgraded rear anti-roll bar and front strut tower brace from Progress Suspension, this makes the vehicles handling more neutral and it helps reduce front tire wear. The sunroof doesn't work correctly, it will open but it will not close, I have a spare sunroof assembly that was the original in the car and was replaced because it made some clicking noises but it still worked. The stereo has been upgraded with a Pioneer mp3, SD Card, USB and Aux Jack so it is fully integrated with current music options. It has clear corner marker lights, and antennae delete, I have the original orange markers and antennae. A brushed aluminum look dash kit and exterior graphic stripe have been added. The spark plugs were upgraded to the iridium version of the factory NGK plugs for a longer life. I switched to synthetic motor oil and do the oil changes every 6, 000 miles, when it was on conventional oil I did the oil changes at 3, 000 miles.
The car has a salvage title, it was involved in a no contact collision that sent the Driver's side left rear over a curb. The insurance company totaled the car due to the cost of the aftermarket wheels that were on the Vehicle. I put the original wheels back on the car and replaced the couple of bent suspension components and had it aligned. The vehicle works and drives perfectly. It suffered no structural damage, it does have a small crack in the rear quarter panel just in front of the driver's rear tire that has been glued so it will not travel or get any worse (see pic).
This car has served me well all these years, it is very reliable and gets good gas mileage. But family needs have moved us into a larger vehicle and I can't justify keeping this as a spare car anymore. Looking for a good 2nd owner that can be served by it as well as I have. I bought this car new in 2001 in Cerritos, CA. it has been a California car all it's life, have the complete owners manual and sales info in the glovebox.
