Here is the Saturn Sky you have been looking for. .literally! This is an absolutely amazing car has been gone through with a fine tooth comb just 600 miles ago by Jessup Auto Plaza in Rancho Mirage CA. . aka Palm Springs, CA. It has been a California car its entire life and has been in no accidents and has had its proper maintenance, all of which is recorded in its Car Fax. I am selling this car for my mom, who wanted a Sky forever, shopped for the best car for 2 years, and bought it, drove it, had her fun, and threw me the keys to sell it! Go mom! Its been her (very) second car, as she's owned it for just 18 months and put only 600 miles on it. The car has never left California and is here in Los Angeles for sale. She never even needed to have it serviced so the Car Fax and sales receipts reflect all of its maintenance and repairs.
The exterior of the car is great, and to prove that the photos are it dirty after it rained. lol. Paint is great, finish is great, there's of course regular little imperfections I am sure, but its a solid 5 foot car. Top is great, there is a tiny little spot about the size of a pencil eraser that looks like it was repaired, but the car was in the rain (before the photo shoot) and the interior and trunk were absolutely bone dry.
The interior of the car is in super condition as well. Aside from the normal expected 42, 000 mile light wear, it is good. No major issues or damage, and everything is there, and works well. Air conditioning is particularly cold as you would need in Palm Springs. The driver seat has a little bit of foam depression, but that is to be expected. Seats are leather, with no rips, or tears, or heavy wear, and in great condition. The top pops and folds back easy and is in great condition.
The engine and trans and mechanics of the car are great. I love the i drive selection which is basically a sport mode which keeps the revs high before shifting and makes it super peppy and fun to take through its paces. Mechanically, everything works exactly correct, the engine (no smoke of course), the trans shifts, the lights, the blinkers, the radio, brakes, tires, etc. Everything is great and ready to go roadster-ing! And these little things corner like they are on rails, as you can imagine. As with any performance roadster that is low to the ground, you're not going to win any smoothest ride awards in any Sky, but feeling the road is part of the fun...and the wind too in your hair!
If you're looking for a Saturn Sky or just a fun inexpensive roadster this is your car. Its the right color, the right history, the right condition, and the right price.
