This car is a replica race car built by Goins/ JBL motor motorsports assyembled in 2005 with only 2200 miles!This is not a kit car! The car was build and assembled in house at the JBL factor. This is one of the best driving Cobras you will ever find for double the price. The car was designed from conception to be a as capable on the road as it is on the track.
The body and color is absolutely beautiful,
One of the unique features of this cobra is the semi monoque backbone chassis. This is a feature you will not find on lesser box or perimeter chassis Cobras. This makes the car extremely stiff and very light. They use the same technology in some of the finest race cars ever built. Another feature is the completely adjustable coil overs and uneven double wish bone suspension specifically designed by Goin/ JBL to achieve their performance goals, This gives the car 1+ G performance with proper tires and setup.. The adjustability will allow you to dial in your handling for just about any situation. The rear end sports a JBL built 3:70 geared rear end with a Eaton posi. The car stops on a dime with disc brake on all 4 corners.
Perhaps one of the nicest features is the completely user programmable engine management system. This utilizes a hand held programmer that will allow you to change any feature you might desire without the need for a lap top. You can adjust anything from fuel pressure, to spark advance and retard, injector pulse etc. . Of course you don't have to change anything, the car is setup with a mild tune right now and drives wonderfully. Only with this engine management system the cars also has the top of the line MSD DS14 digital ignition.
The power plant is a Ford Racing 4.7 crate motor, setup with a Kenne Bell big bore twin screw super charger capable of 20 psi. The engine has forged internals and has been prepped for boost by ford Motorsports. Currently the car is running 6 psi if boost and makes 450 HP, which in this car, is an absolute blast to drive...however, this setup is capable of making over 650 HP if your insane enough to want to drive it. This vehicle also utilizes a 2 stage fuel system which will help prevent any fuel starvation under boost.
The trans is what it should be in a car of this quality. Tremek TKO 5 speed, hardened input shafts, all the good stuff inside with a Mc Leod twin clutch setup. quality stuff that will last, no junk here.
Of course all of the basic performance features you would expect are present, from proper race fittings to braided lines and oil cooler, huge custom radiator, electric fans, quality gauges etc. . The pictures speak for themselves.
