Price: US $41,900.00

Description:

This is the REAL DEAL Cobra replica. A real head turner everywhere it goes, this engine is very muscular sounding. It was featured on the front cover of Kit Car Magazine in the March 1997 issue with full feature story. A copy comes with the car.
This car is a factory built Everett Morrison 1967 427 S/C replica featuring the proper 427FE medium riser “ side oiler” engine. It was dynoed at 600HP at the flywheel. This is a stroker motor balanced and blueprinted using a 428 crankshaft resulting in 452 CID. This engine has NOS Ford LeMans rods, JE pistons, a Mc Leod aluminum flywheel, Lakewood scatter shield, 2-4bbl Holley carbs, $1000 Dove rocker arm assemblies, a solid lifter Competition brand cam opening Manley valves, and finished with stainless headers and collectors. Transmission is a Ford toploader 4 speed with large shafts front and rear with a Hurst shifter mounted below, connected to a Ford 9” rear axle with an aluminum center housing containing 4:11 gears. Brakes are manual disc all around. Suspension is Mustang II tubular front and Panhard bar rear setup with a strong four link system and Aldan coil overs all around. Wheels are actual “knockoff style” Halibrand replica’s mounted with Mickey Thompson ET STREET Radials. Also equipped with Hella high-power driving lights in front, a heater assy, Pioneer radio with tape deck, and a Carter high volume electric fuel pump. Also comes with a soft top and tonneau cover. This engine will run all day on pump 93 gasoline. This car shows no aging because it has high quality vinyl upholstery, newly purchased carpeting from Everett Morrison in 2012 ($550) , all stainless fuel & brake lines below, and stainless bumpers F&R. The soft top fabric does show some aging and probably needs replaced. It has not been on the car in 12 years.
On the underside of the hood there is a hand painted message that will make bowtie lovers crazy.
Your purchase includes a genuine Shelby Race Team nylon windbreaker that was actually worn in the pits, ( circa. 1964-65 ) , and all documentation relating to its lifetime.
