Shelby Cobra -
West Coast
427 'Stallion-style' Cobra. Built in 1991-1994.
Harley Davidson
Birch White/Buckskin.
Red team stripes. West Coast Cobras are
recognized as “the big man’s Cobra”; providing more comfort and legroom in the
cockpit (6 inches longer, 4 inches wider than standard), gran prix driving
comfort and road handling stability. This car was designed from the
ground up to provide perfect 50-50% front/rear weight balance with a big block
motor. The tremendously rigid TIG-welded tubular steel space frame has a
monocoque backbone providing torsional stiffness while maintaining safety
energy zones of controlled penetration. The ¼” single-piece fiberglass
construction of the main body along with the double-walled doors, hood and
trunk provide superior strength yet lighter weight. Additional driver and
passenger safety features include a FULL roll bar that integrates directly into
the frame, double wall construction throughout the tunnel and firewall, a
substantial steel subframe within the doors designed to minimize side crash
impacts, and a custom aluminum fuel cell safely isolated from potential
collision.

429 valve covers, rack n pinion power steering. Dual fan radiator w/ auto
trigger thermostat. Chromed trim all around the engine compartment, and
firewall-mounted engine-compartment lamp.

“Great condition. Some minor paint chips from debris, mostly on the back fenders. In need of new carpet, the current rust color shag carpeting is outdated and worn… Could use new floor mats. Could also use rear fender guards – Due to the extended fender flaring, susceptible to more debris exposure. Inexpensive black fender guards would help. Stereo/Speakers not working. Personally, I don’t see a reason for them so I never replaced when purchased vehicle.” |
