Factory Five Mk4 Roadster completed in December 2013. Less than 300 miles. I built this car to replicate the original as much as possible.
The centerpiece is the original 289 block punched to a 302. This is an original 1965 289 block ( I went thru five before deciding on this one) with appropriate Nevada documentation. The car will always be titled as a 1965 and never subject to smog or emissions regulations. The engine was built by a professional and local engine builder. It has an MSD ignition (hidden from sight), Magnum roller rockers, Canton racing oil pan, Edelbrock aluminum water pump, Edelbrock performer intake manifold, Street avenger carburetor, Powermaster alternator, MSD blaster coil and pro-billet distributor. The motor is estimated by the builder to produce in excess of 350hp.
The rear end is a Ford 9 with disc brake conversion. It has coil-overs with Wilwood pedal box and disc brakes. Transmission is the Tremic T5. Optima gel battery.
Interior in this Cobra is black leather racing style seats with Simpson harnesses. Accessories include chrome bumpers, Hallibrand style wheels 15(not pin drive) and wind wings. The color is matched as close as possible to original factory colors
The build was a bucket list item and took more than a year to complete. I did the entire project except for the motor and paint.
This vehicle sits in a heated garage and comes with a car cover. It has never been registered and has the original certificate or origin from Factory Five. I have a low reserve to make it easy for you to own this excellent automobile.
