When you purchase a Shelby aluminum body and chassis from Shelby America it comes bare with almost nothing in it for a whopping 160, 000 dollars and we have heard it could take a year to get one . Here is an almost complete one with lots of extras , Just needs motor, tranny , dash and seats to finish it . This car was to be the prototype for the AC, Iconic cobra, that's why so much time was invested in this car but they just went to production of the AC Iconic roadster so this car was put to the side.This is one of the earliest cars built from Shelby. Big block cars started at # 4000 so this is the 23rd car of the line. The car can be completeted at HRE motorcars in Freeport NY, Bill Andrews is one of the best cobra builders in the country. He was the one that started the build. This car is painted but if you don't like the color we can paint it again and the carpet is in and finished. It has custom brakes and suspension, also oversized flares and custom wheels, carbon fiber foot boxes and firewall and the rear wall behind the seat is carbon fiber. Custom 42gal fuel tank also in the car.and more.The windshield frame is removable if you don't want the big frame the chrome one is under it. There is about 600 hours of labor making the body and chassis perfect . The labor on the chassis was spent cleaning and filling all the welds so they can not be seen after the chassis was painted and the time on the body was spent building the big flares front and back . This car has a great stance with the wide flares one the widest fenders I have seen, this car is a piece of art. You can't see any welds on the chassis anywhere . If you don't like the color it can be changed to what ever you want. Like I said this is a very early cobra and a lot of extra time has gone into this car between the fender flares and the chassis weld's, it is one of a kind.
