Ever dreamt of owning a Cobra, only to find that they were designed for the average sized man? That was what happened to me. ..and I'm 6-7 280. So, I put my dream on the shelf for a long time until I found this car. Hunter makes a version of the Cobra that is 6 longer in the cockpit than the original Cobra. I then ordered the Big & Tall seats, and even had them customized. I ordered a slightly smaller Nardi steering wheel. ..and I fit great. Medical bills are piling up...time to make some sacrifices. Titled as a 1966. Manufactured in 2006 by Hunter. 351 Windsor manufactured by Engine Factory in New Jersey. Only 6, 700 miles. Corvette C4 suspension, with Dana rear end. Over 400 horsepower. .this thing is fast!!!!!
I put in a high end stereo. .JL speakers. .8 subwoofer hidden by passenger feet. JL digital amp. This car is loud. .so music has to be loud and clear. .I spent a few thousand on the stereo.
The original owner put over $70, 000 into the original build. .I personally have over $50, 000 total into it. This is your chance to buy it at a steal!!!!
One of the pictures shows the car with the old white license plate...but I got in the new black legacy plate a few days ago, and just installed it.
Biggest negatives are that it has an oil leak(s), and there is some kind of stress crack in the paint where the wheel well meets the hood area. I took photos of the crack, and included them in the auction. I'm not mechanical, so I paid a mechanic a couple thousand to stop oil leak(s). .didn't work. I was discouraged. .so I didn't talk to the mechanic further. I put a new clutch in about 1, 000 miles ago.
I'm not looking forward to listing this repeatedly, so I'm listing it cheap without reserve. Please only bid if you can complete payment within 3 days.
