This 2009 Shelby GT500KR is #570 of a production run of 712 vehicles (of which 541 were slated for sale in the U.S.), and is one of only 236 ebony black vehicles with satin black stripes!
Born as a Ford-produced Shelby GT500 in Flat Rock Michigan then shipped to to Shelby's facility in Las Vegas, where it received a 540-hp supercharges 5.4 liter V-8 engine with a Ford Racing Power Upgrade Package. A Ford Racing Handling Package was also added that included revised springs, adjustable dampers, beefier stabilizer bars and a strut tower brace. The addition of 3.73 rear gears, short-throw shifter, exhaust, plus KR-specific exterior treatments such as 18 wheels and Goodyear tires, a special carbon composite hood with hood pins and unique Shelby stripes and badging sets the KR apart from there GT500.
The 2009 Shelby GT500KR is not only one of the most powerful factory Mustangs ever built, but also the rarest. 0 - 60 mph in 4.3 seconds and 1/4 mile in 12.1 seconds!
