This is one of the Rarest Supercars in existence today with only 249 ever built. It is the only car that Carroll Shelby built from scratch! Prices are on the rise based on recent sales. CSX5195 exemplifies one of the most desirable color combinations painted in centennial silver with blue racing stripes. The blue racing stripes go from the front of the car through to the rear valance of the car. I personally think that this looks much better than rear stripes ending at end of rear deck lid like most Series 1's that have racing stripes. CSX5195 is in exceptional condition showing only 6600 actual pampered miles on the speedometer. All fluids have been changed recently including rear differential fluid, transmission fluid and brake fluid. In addition, I had a 3m clear bra installed on the entire front hood, side rockers, side mirrors and rear panel. Brand new tires have been mounted on the vehicle since the originals had an old DOT date. The car drives and runs great and everything works as it should!!!
One of the most important aspects of this particular vehicle is its extensive documentation. CSX5195 documentation includes all original sales documentation. I have included photo of this documentation in this listing. Photographs also include the actual car being assembled with its pride first new owner by its side. There is also a photo of the actual car in front of Shelby American headquarters in Las Vegas prior to its maiden voyage to its new home. Final sales price of CSX5195 was close to $200, 000, 00.
Please do your due diligence before you make an offer. You will find only a handful of Shelby Series 1's on the market today if that, especially one in this superb condition with the documentation that this particular car boasts!
Lastly, I encourage you to reference several resources to determine the value before making an offer. I suggest reviewing Hagerty Valuation Tools on Hagerty's website. I have found that they provide very accurate current values for most vehicles using sales results of recent auctions to determine quarterly market trends and analysis. One Shelby Series 1 just sold at Barrett Jackson for close to $150K including fees. Lastly, it is my opinion that these rare Shelby cars have been behind the recent trend of increase values of the Ferrari and Lamborghini market and other super cars that have realized a spike in price. This may be a perfect buying opportunity. It is a matter of when, not if prices of the Series 1 are going to increase rapidly.
