This Car is in all original condition and has never experienced the rain. It is garage kept and on a trickle charger to maintain battery life. I have all the original paperwork from when I purchased the car from the dealership. I have only taken the car to a few local car shows and to the gas station periodically for fresh high octane gasoline. Still looks and smells brand new. The only blemishes on this car is from the factory paint job. Typical blemishes, no flaws or scratches anywhere! Car is immaculate from top to bottom, and is stored in a climate controlled garage.
Currently as of today, the mileage is at 525.8 original miles...it may go up a mile or two over the next few weeks, due to a few interested parties in purchasing the car. I have looked into shipping as far as Millington TN from Norfolk, VA, and the price in an enclosed trailer from a reputable shipping company is about $800.00. If you are wanting to ship any further than that, I don't know what the cost would be. If you have any questions at all regarding the car, please feel free to ask.
The most common question I get asked is why am I selling... Truth is that I do not have to sell at all, but I have been paying for full coverage insurance on this car for the past 8 years, and I am thinking that I could use the money as a better investment buying property. I am active duty military stationed in Norfolk, VA, and am thinking about retiring within the next couple of years, and would like to use the cash from the sale of my Shelby towards buying a house where I want to retire. I thought I would keep the car as an investment and maybe sell it in 20 years or so, but as I get closer to retirement, I would rather own property now then a Shelby for another 12-13 years.
