You are viewing a 2008 Shelby GT500 with 65K Miles. I am the second owner to have this car. I bought it with just 8, 000 miles on the car. The car is signed by Carroll Shelby but I keep it out of the car and have replaced the dash for security reasons. The car has authentic super snake rims that I purchased from a man that wanted to replace his. A bought them a little rough around the edges and my plan was to have them fixed at RimCo but I never got around to it. They quoted me $700. The tires have about 10, 000 miles on them and is up to date on service changes. Records are with Jiffy Lube. It has an aftermarket Prestige alarm and runs great! It has Mack exhaust and Bassani X Pipes. Cold Air Intake and chip/tune. The car is lowered and I believe the car has upper and lower pulley swap but I can't remember. - The history behind this car is that my husband built it for me and he passed away 8 months ago. I may not be able to answer all of your technical questions. It was last tuned at PSI in League City. The hood has a bit of oxidizing and the front stripe has picked up some rock chips as seen in the pictures. I just recently bought a 2014 Shelby and am looking to get rid of this one. This car has been very good to me. Sometimes the gas pedal sticks to the floor if you slam it all the way down with your foot. That probably needs to get looked at if you plan on racing it :-) (You can still get on it, it's just when you slam it) Also, when you first start the car, the AC fan makes a few clicks and then stops. It has never bothered me to get it looked at because the AC works great. I have tried to document all of the imperfections well and provide as much knowledge in this description as I can. This is a great car! Drives Great! Again, I may not be able to answer all of your questions but I will sure give it a shot if you have any. - I have the title in hand and I am ready to hand her off to a new owner who will treat her well.
