Had hard time to insure it at the beginning in Michigan but the situation has been changed greatly and at least 2 nation wide giant and 3 mid size insurance companies can give a dirty cheap insurance rate as low as a motorcycle.
Can't believer how stable it sprints on the highway. Ride on local road can be choppy if the road condition is bad.
The super wide, racing style rear tire was from stock not aftermarket.
The first owner, which is a millionaire which airplane runway built on his farm, ordered a slightly customized on wheel when he ordered this Smart from Mercedes Benz dealer.
