Here's another of our no reserve auctions. This is a 1947 Studebaker 1/2 ton 2X . We traded for this little gem a few months ago and we have not much history to really to tell you. It does have a small block Chev V-8 , turbo 350 trans. and a 12 bolt rear end ...This seems to be an old school hotrod project that was never finished.
There is an Edelbrock aluminum intake, Carter carb. Mallory distributor and coil, Headers, Positrac rearend, ratchet shifter, dual reservoir power brake setup, tilt steering and rack and pinion. None of these things are brand new ...
The pickup runs and drives but needs more work here and there as the brakes are weak, she's a little loose in the steering, the seats need mounted and bolted down, etc etc . .The old gal DOES have a straight all metal body with no visible rust and is a great candidate to finish into your new dream Hot rod pickup.
