Studebaker (1952)
for sale
Price: US $500.00
Price: US $500.00
Here is a great hot rod, rat rod project for someone who loves Studebakers or just wants something different. The Commander Hardtops are few and far between. We bought the car with intention of using the automatic transmission, and column in another Studebaker we are restoring. The car is being offered with no engine or transmission. However if that is a deal breaker, contact us and we can talk about it. The last picture is one that has the 1951 Bullet nose front end added. This was our inspiration!
Our idea with this hardtop was to build a hot rod with a modern engine etc. For those out there that like the look of the Bullet nose cars, the hood, front fender, bullet nose, etc from a 1950 to 1951 will bolt right on. Same for the front end of other 52 Studebakers. It rolls and steers but no brakes working. There is rust in the rockers, trunk, floors, but everything else including the doors appear to be solid. The trunk floor looks good where the seams meet the inner fender panels. The engine, automatic transmission and automatic steering column will be removed and not included in this sale.
We have all the chrome and stainless window and body trim. It needs to be restored. We have the complete grill, headlights. We don not have the tail lights. We do not have the front seat. Windows roll up and down. Please take the time to look at the pictures be asking a question. The car is located in Bremerton, Washington. This project car is being relisted as the winning bidder (sararobinso2) is a scammer.
