Price: US $11,000.00
Studebaker top has been chopped. The body is mostly in primer has NOS rear quarters. Top hasn't had any filler so you can see where it's been cut. The body is solid although there's some filler in the car from older repairs. Windshield is stock Studebaker as A posts have been laid back. Has lexan rear window, lexan quarter windows, NO door glass or mechanism's or wind wings. The doors open by pressing on door locks. The car has been wired and the, turn signals, headlights, tail lights, and brake lights all work. The gauges all work except fuel gage but it's all new so probably just some small quirk.
The chassis is 1983 Olds Cutlass has been lengthened to Studebaker wheelbase. Everything on chassis has been replaced steering, suspension, brakes, u joints, bushings, etc. Has power dis brakes and power steering. 9 inch ford rear with cutlass suspension adapted. The frame is really well done and has had extra bracing so it's really stiff. The car rides well and is fun & comfortable to drive.
It's powered by a 354 Chrysler Hemi which is adapted to a Muncie 4 speed trans. The engine runs good but I've no idea of internal parts condition. It has 10 lbs of oil pressure when at an idle and warm around 30 lbs going down the road when warm. The carb is a new edelbrock that will still need a little sorting. The trans shifts great, uses hydraulic slave cylinder, new clutch and pressure plate, one ear is broken off trans but a bracket has been made in place of ear.
The tires are brand new the zoomie exhaust is made by the builder with baffles and powder coated
I have a dash, chrome front grilles & stainless mouldings for top of quarters, and an extra hood The car is licensed and a insured by Hagerty
The car has 90 miles on it since being built by Dan Turner from Charlotte, Michigan whose built several hot rods and race cars, I've driven the car 83 of those miles mostly at highway speeds. I think the car drives good but being a fresh build and an old car I'm sure there will be some things to be sorted out. **All sales are final. No returns or warranty included.
