FOR SALE:
RARE 1929 STUDEBAKER
HOT ROD ROADSTER No Reserve. REAL STEEL CAR. ORIGINAL SIGNATURE STEDEBAKER FRONT END WITH LEAF SPRINGS RUNNING ALONG THE FRAME. UNLIKE FORD INVERTED CROSS AXLE SINGLE SPRING. Last time for sale.
SUICIDE DOORS. IVE NEVER SEEN ONE OF THESE AND EVEN AFTER SEARCHING ONLINE FOR HOURS I STILL HAVENT. CAR WAS SITTING IN A GARAGE FOR YEARS AS THE PREVIOUS OWNER AN OLDER GENTLEMAN PASSED AWAY. HE HAS THE CREDIT OF MAKING THIS SWEET RIDE. IVE OWNED IT FOR ABOUT A YEAR. I SENT THE CAR OUT AND HAD THE INTERIOR REDONE AND THE TANK CLEANED WITH A NEW ELDELBROCK 4 BARREL CARBURETOR INSTALLED. WHEN I BOUGHT THE CAR I KNEW IT HAD A 350 BUT I CALLED MY LOCAL AUTO PARTS STORE AND WHEN THEN RAN THE NUMBERS ON THE MOTOR, I WAS PLEASANTLY SURPRISED TO HEAR IT WAS A 350 OUT OF A 69 CORVETTE WITH A 4 BOLT MAIN. IT HAS A 12 BOLT CHEVY REAR. AND I BELIEVE ITS A TURBO 400 TRANS. IT HAS A FUEL CELL IN THE TRUNK AND A DUAL MASTER CYLINDER UNDER THE FLOOR. YOU CAN SEE THE CHROME ACCESS CAP IN THE PICS OF THE DRIVERS SIDE FLOOR. DRUM BRAKES ALL AROUND THAT STOP THIS LIGHT CAR WITH NO PROBLEM. THE CAR HAS BEEN NJ STATE INSPECTED AND IS GOOD FOR 2 YEARS. CLEAN TITLE AND REGISTRATION. THE COLOR IS LIKE A CREAM OR AN OFF WHITE. THE INTERIOR IS A DARK BROWN THAT WAS DONE WITH SLIGHTLY DISTRESSED WRINKLED VINYL. LOOKS GOOD. EVERYONE HAS A MODEL A, NO ONE AT THE CAR SHOW WILL HAVE A 29 STUDEBAKER ROADSTER.. CAR RUNS GOOD. THERE ARE A COUPLE EXHAUST TURNOUTS IN THE TRUNK FOR RUNNING OPEN HEADERS. HAS A RACE SEAT BELT FOR THE DRIVER. I DONT KNOW HOW MUCH OF THE MOTOR HAS BEEN WORKED BUT YOU CAN TELL BY THE WAY IT SOUNDS IT HAS A MILD CAM IN IT. THE ODOMETER READ 895 MILES I BELIEV THAT IS HOW MANY MILES ARE ON IT SINCE IT WAS BUILT. ALL STEEL FLOORS. ELECTRIC RADIATOR FAN, ALL LIGHTS AND BLINKERS WORK. HAS DASH LIGHTS. EVERYTHING WORKS. ELECTRONIC IGNITION. HAS A QUICK RELASE STEERING WHEEL. I BELIEVE THE FRAME WAS BEEFED UP FROM THE FRONT AXLES TO BEHIND THETRANS FOR THE 350. ITS HEAVY DUTY COMPARED TO A MODEL A. EVERYTHING WAS DONE WELL ON THIS CAR. ITS A VERY NICE DRIVER AND A SUNDAY SHOW CAR, AND WOULD TAKE VERY LITTLE TO MAKE IT PERFECT. THE PAINT IS NOT PERFECT HAS A CHIP BY THE REAR DECKLID. HAS SOME MINOR SCRATCHES AND SOME IMPERFECTIONS IN THE PAINT. Fiberglass Repo front grill shell, metallic grill I believe original metal. HAS SUICIDE DOORS. HAS CRAGAR WIRE SPOKE RIMS. TIRES ARE GOOD. ANY QUESTIONS, FEEL FREE
