Studebaker only made the Avanti for 3 years so this is one of only a few thousand ever built. This rare classic was ordered with factory Air conditioning, Power steering, Power windows , Disc brakes, 2 speed electric wipers and lots more. These cars were so ahead of their time for luxury comfort and performance. The Avanti broke 29 records at the Bonneville salt flats. This car was sold new in California and spent most of its life down there until it made its way to Washington state 10 years ago and has been here ever since. This classic shows pride of ownership. The matching numbers running gear was rebuilt about 8k miles ago. This car was repainted in a Merlot red (05 Thunderbird color) two years ago and no costs was spared with this paint job. This light weight fiberglass classic runs and drives great. Power steering makes this car a dream to drive and with disc brakes you have the confidence to stop on a dime.
