For your consideration, I am offering for sale this beautifully restored, show quality 1962 Studebaker Champ. I purchased this truck 2 years ago from the son of the long time owner. His father purchased the truck out of Oklahoma in the late 80's, after it was completely restored by the prior owner. The son states this truck was an AACA junior national winner in the late 80's, after which it as put in storage and rarely driven. Upon my purchase in 2014, the original engine was tired, so I had it completely rebuilt, at a cost of over $6000K. All systems were gone through at this time to ensure proper function. The paint is still in excellent condition, with only a few minor chips, most of which were touched up and has dents or rust. This truck runs very smoothly and the 3-speed on the column, with overdrive, functions as it should. I have driven the truck less than 100 miles since the engine rebuild. The odometer and radio are not functioning, but all other gauges are working. The truck comes with an all weather $250 cover, although it has been garaged throughout its life. This Studebaker Champ is a very fine and rare example, in near show condition, but ready for your daily or weekend enjoyment.
