Studebaker Champion (1949)
for sale

Price: US $5,000.00

Description:

1949 Studebaker Champion Convertible
This is a very original and complete barnfind of an awesome vintage car. It packs a lot of potential – whether you want to build a rat rod or if you’re looking for a classic restoration project.
It has been sitting protected in a barn for the last 30 years and it looks it. It has only surface rust barring one small hole in the driver’s side floor board and another in the spare tire box. All original white-wall tires with original hubcaps, although the tires are dry-rotted beyond use (two of them will not hold air, a spare was put on for the pictures). The engine does turn over by hand but I have not tried to start it. The car’s age shows in the paint, giving it the perfect patina if someone was to go the rat rod route and put in a late model suspension and drivetrain, or it would be a great restoration project. 29, 449 original miles.
This car is relisted because the gentleman who got the winning bid on it had to back out of the purchase for personal reasons. So anyone thinking about bidding on it before gets another chance, and with no reserve!
