We purchased this car from the second owners in Idaho and haven’t had the time to do anything with it. It starts easily, runs nice and drives fine.
The previous owner removed the convertible top canvas, but didn’t replace it because they only drove it locally on warm sunny days. The top bows are all in nice condition, but power top rams were removed in a box.

Body
It was repainted about 10 years ago, but looks great. The Balsam Green Metallic paint was an option, only available on convertibles. The color became popular for hot rods and customs through the early 60’s.
There are no dent’s, or cracks in the paint and will stand out in any crowd.
The chrome and trim are all nice and has one of the most beautiful dashes you will find. The 1940’s convertibles are a great investment and sure to appreciate while having fun in the sun!

Brakes
The brakes work but older rubber flex hoses feel hard, so we purchased the following to install:

New Master Cylinder

New Front & Rear Wheel Cylinders
·
New Front & Rear Brake Flex Hoses
These items are included with the car

Transmission
Has 3 speed Overdrive transmission.
Shifts fine, but we haven’t had it insured to test the overdrive on highway. The Overdrive will allow it to go nicely on freeway and around town with good gas mileage.

Tires
Nice radial white wall tires.

Interior
Nice carpet, seats and interior.

Engine
Engine starts and runs good, but included are the following items to give it a tune-up.
New Distributor Cap
New Rotor
New Points
New Condenser
New Spark Plugs

Glass
Glass is in nice condition.
