I bought this car as well a bunch of other cars, a year & a half ago from a man with a hoard of cars. I realize I won't have time or money to get to this one. This is the popular bullet nose Studebaker, but this is 4-door. I believe this car is 95% complete, except for the driver's door, rear-view mirror. This car does need a lot of love. | “This Studebaker is 95% complete. It is a bullet nose car with suicide rear doors. The only part I have noticed to be missing is the driver's door, rear-view mirror. It is going to need rockers & floor pans. It has a straight 6 flathead motor with a 3 on the tree transmission. We spent a few hours getting this car to run, which it did for a couple minutes until the cracked oil lines broke. So the motor is good. We were not able to check the transmission. It does need COMPLETE restoration inside and out.” |
