1954 Studebaker Commander

Studebaker Commander (1954)
for sale

Price: US $600.00

Description:

The Conestoga station wagon was introduced in 1954 as to add some utility to the Studebaker line. The name hearkens back to Studebakers wagon days, when it built Conestoga wagons for the travelers moving west in the 1850s. The Conestoga was tall, short, and skinny like the rest of the 1954 sedan line. It was a very good utilitarian value.
The 1954 Studebaker Conestoga Wagon is
(in my opinion)
one of the sharpest 2dr wagons ever built!.
This one needs a FULL RESTORATION.
(See pic 1)
When I got it, it was disassembled as you see it today.
All that I have done to it is clean the rims and put on tires that hold air.
At 71 & 2 big projects ahead of this I know I will never get around to restoring this one.
(see pics 2-10)
Let me answer some basic questions that are always asked:
1. YES. It has RUST issues on the body.
2. NO. I can’t get under to take pictures of the underside.
3. NO. It does not run.
4. NO. It does not stop (no brakes).
5. YES. All parts pictured come with the car. (See pics 11, 12)
6. NO. It’s not 100% complete, probably 95%. I know part of one grill broke, but all major components are there.
7. YES. You can come to look at it. In fact I prefer inspection prior to bidding. This
sale is final
and this purchase is
AS IS, WHERE IS.
All shipping fees are yours.
I will help with loading if need be, but that is all.
I have a 100% Positive Feed Back rating and want to keep it that way.
