This 1955 Studebaker Coupe is a new modern twist to the classic speedster of 1955 with a nice 350 cubic inch LT1 V8 fuel injected engine from a totaled 1996 Pontiac Trans Am with less than 3500 original miles. This nice LT1 power plant is linked to a smooth shifting 700R4 automatic transmission with overdrive. The rear end of this customized 55 Studebaker is a Ford 9 inch rear end with a Mustang II front end and full four point air ride suspension and when all combined together really make for a very comfortable ride in this custom 55 Studebaker. Four wheel disk brakes provide plenty of stopping power for the nice LT1 engine and 700R4 transmission. The custom design and restoration is carried over to the interior with over $10000 worth of custom leather and bucket seats with an instrument cluster from the donor Trans Am all wired together with a Ron Francis Computer wiring harness. Out of state buyers are responsible for all state, county, city taxes and fees, as well as title service fees in the state that the vehicle will be registered. All taxes and fees must be paid in full in order for vehicle to be titled and registered.
Title Information
: Vehicles titles may be held by banks or lenders as collateral for loans. In many cases there is a delay in receiving the original instruments up to 21 days from the time we pay a vehicle off. While we usually have all titles in our possession at closing, there are occasions where we may be waiting for them to arrive. If payment is made by cashier's or personal checks we will hold all titles for 10 days or until funds have cleared.
