1964 Studebaker

Studebaker (1964)
for sale

Price: US $2,500.00

Description:

Offered is a 1964 Studebaker Daytona 2DR hardtop. This car has been subjected to a frame-on restoration and is driven regularly. It has a 259 with 4 bbl, 4-speed and twin traction, however it has the economy 3:07 differential so it's not fast off the line! The interior is very nice, a combination of original and new. Car has power steering and manual brakes.
ENGINE/DRIVE TRAIN:
259 rebuilt approx. 10k ago, 4 speed, clutch u joints, radiator, brakes, shocks etc. rebuilt or replaced as needed. Has 4 bbl AFB, the front end was completely rebuilt when car was painted 3 years ago.
EXTERIOR:
Repainted original color (Bordeaux red), rusty front fenders replaced w/NOS, rust in left rear of trunk floor patched. Rockers and floor rust free. Glass all good, except windshield has some pitting. Chrome all very nice, grille is NOS from S.I. Weather stripping and glass seals replaced when painted.
INTERIOR:
New front seat and console upholstery, headliner, seat belts and carpet. Dash replaced with nicer one and dyed to match (usual crack by speaker). Rear seat and door panels are original. Radio works
but...
I forgot to drill hole for antenna when car was painted and I can't bring myself to do so now (I don't listen to AM radio here anyway)! Climatizer, tach, and all gauges work fine.
OTHER:
Odometer shows almost 15, 000, I suspect it's 115, 000.

Electric fuel pump w/low oil pressure cut off relay. Headlight relay for added reliability and safety. New alternator.Non-stock chrome wheels. 4 hubcaps included. Good tires.
Drive it home!
