Starts right up and purr's like a kitten... This car is well built, 1962 Studebaker Grand Turismo Hawk Hardtop. The Gran Turismo Hawk was designed by notable Brooks Stevens. Only 8388 of these Hawks were built and just a fraction of that still on the road so own a piece of American history today. Andy Grantille campaigned a blown R3 Hawk to a record 157 mph at the Bonneville Salt Flats. This car is a solid survivor and has no rust, just minor chrome pitting and could eventually use new paint (to be expected with a classic that is 53 years old). It is equipped with a 210 HP with original Stromberg 2B carb on a 289 V8 mated to a automatic transmission. It is in good semi-restored condition and runs and drives like the car of it's day. Current registration and clear title. Drive as is or restore.
